We're sorry to see you go. Here's everything you need to know about deleting your Kasa account and what happens to your data.

How to Delete Your Account

Log in to Kasa

Open the Kasa app and sign in with your phone number and password.

Go to Settings

Tap your profile icon, then navigate to Settings → Security → Delete Account.

Request Deletion

Enter your password to confirm your identity and submit the deletion request.

Confirmation

You'll receive a confirmation. Your account enters a 30-day grace period before permanent deletion.

30-Day Grace Period

After requesting deletion, your account is deactivated but not immediately deleted. You have 30 days to change your mind. Simply log back in during this period to cancel the deletion and reactivate your account. After 30 days, your data is permanently and irreversibly deleted.

What Happens to Your Data

When your account is permanently deleted, the following actions are taken:

Personal information (name, email, phone)Permanently deleted
Transaction history (anonymized, retained for regulatory compliance)Retained for compliance
Wallet accounts and balancesPermanently deleted
Contacts and saved recipientsPermanently deleted
Login sessions and devicesPermanently deleted
Activity logs (anonymized, retained for security audits)Retained for compliance
